Time Management: Timetrack Professional
Wee-Young, Ng
July 28, 2008 Timetrack is an automatic time tracking software that allows me to keep
track of my time by monitoring my computer usage pattern. Fully
automated without any of my manual involvement so that I can
concentrated on my real work. I do a lot of my freelance consulting work on my laptop and it every
easy to lose track of my time, which is my most precious resource. Most
of the time, I need to bill my clients on the time I spend on their
projects. I know that there are many time tracking software out there. But
nothing beat Timetrack, in fact, I did not even know such software
exists! It automatically tracks the time I spend using my applications
like Microsoft Word, Excel and Internet Explorer. It even record the
time spend on individual documents and URLs (for Internet Explorer) that
I have work through out the day. With all these information, Timetrack
can automatically categorize the recorded time into categories that I
have created. Bingo! Finally, I know where all my time goes with just a click! In
addition, Timetrack also allows me to customize my view so that I can
easily analyze my time statistic. The only con is that it is not a freeware, it current version is 3.0 and
sells at $49. It does have a free edition version, but it not
compatible with Windows Vista. It has limited features. Web-Site: www.bitcomputing.com
