April 25, 2009 I have previously recommended that you request a copy of your free credit report. You can do this here: https://www.annualcreditreport.com/cra/index.jsp There are other reports that third parties keep on you. You may not be aware of this. You can request free copies once a year. One is your employment history report: http://www.garynorth.com/snip/837.htm Another is your tenant history report. http://www.garynorth.com/snip/838.htm A third is your consumer file. If you have applied for certain kinds of insurance, there is a file on you. These include, life insurance, health insurance, and disability insurance. http://www.garynorth.com/snip/840.htm You will never know what is in these files unless you ask. I suggest that you ask.
