Get Your Tax-Deduction This Week

Dec. 26, 2009

To get an income tax write-off for 2009, you must give away the money before January 1.

Jesus said that it is more blessed to give than to receive. This is recorded by the Apostle Paul.

I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive (Acts 20:35).

This is the only quotation attributed to Jesus that does not appear in one of the gospels. It is unique.

Economists and psychologists have at long lasted created a series of experiments that indicate that Jesus was correct. These are cited in a recent post by Dr. Dan Ariely on his blog site, "Predictably Irrational."

When it comes to ethics, money, and joy, economists are slow learners. But better late than never.

It is best to donate to a cause you approve of but which has few supporters. Your money gets more bang for the buck.

If you want to see how much bang various large charities get for the buck, use this site:

I plan to donate to this one:

If you would like to receive a bonus DVD of my seminar on "Retirement Armageddon," use this donation page.
