This Department Can Save You Money. (So Can My "Tip of the Week.") Come Back to Check It Out.
Gary North

"A penny saved is about 1.4 cents earned, depending on your income tax bracket."-- Gary North

In this department, we monitor discount sellers, special deals, and strategies that will save you money.

One of the marks of the "millionaire next door" is frugality. He buys high quality items, demands a discount for cash, and lives comfortably. He doesn't put on a show, except maybe a negative show: to appear poorer than he really is.

Warning: There is always a trade-off between the value of your time and the money you save. As your time becomes more valuable, you should be willing to pay more if it saves you time. But you must be sure that the extra price is really saving you time. Otherwise, shop for a lower price. It's a good habit. It's part of a productive lifestyle.
