I want every member to maximize the value of the membership. The forums are a big part of this value for people who want specific answers.
Paying a subscription fee without posting is failing to maximize the value of membership. A site member died in November 2020. A relative canceled his account on December 2. He had subscribed on September 30, 2005. He never posted a question or an answer. Total subscription fees: $1,596.50. He logged in 4,685 times. I guess he liked my writing style. He took none of my time.
The new record holder canceled on June 4, 2021. He began his subscription on November 2, 2005. He paid me $1,761.70. He, too, must have liked my writing style.
