Teach Budgeting to Your Children.
I like Bankrate's tips. They are practical. They usually come in packets of five to ten.
Here's a packet of seven on budgeting: //www.garynorth.com/snip/1068.htm
This is great advice for teenagers -- the sooner, the better.
If you have a copy of Quicken, practice with the budgeting feature. Then buy a copy for each of your teenagers or grandkids. Help them set up a budget. Pay them something after they set one up and follow it for 60 days.
If you can't afford Quicken, use my free budgeting software here: //www.garynorth.com/snip/1069.htm
