Teach Budgeting to Your Children.

I like Bankrate's tips. They are practical. They usually come in packets of five to ten.

This is great advice for teenagers -- the sooner, the better.

If you have a copy of Quicken, practice with the budgeting feature. Then buy a copy for each of your teenagers or grandkids. Help them set up a budget. Pay them something after they set one up and follow it for 60 days.
