Inter-library Loans

Gary North - December 14, 2013

For most people, buying a used book on Amazon is the best way to get an old book. The cost of your time is high. Amazon's used books are cheap. You get to keep the book. No late fees.

But sometimes the old book is $50 or more. Then it may pay to get it through inter-library loan. This is free at your local public library.

The way to narrow your search is with WorldCat. This amazing service lets you specify your zip code. Then you search for the book. It will show you where the nearest library is that has it.

You can then fill out the form to borrow it. In a week, you will have the book.
