Ads-Stripping Add-On

I use Firefox because Evernote offers a free program, Web Clipper. If I find an online article I want to keep, I click a button on my menu bar, and the article is saved in my free Evernote account. I add tags -- memory-jogging words or phrases -- and I get the entire article forever. It even saves the link to the page. I can retrieve it in a matter of seconds.

If the article's link ever dies, I still have the full article, word for word.

Microsoft IE has this option for Evernote, but it's kludgy.

Now Evernote offers a great add-on: one click of an icon, and all of the ads on a Web page disappear, leaving easily read text only. You can then save this ad-free article in your Evernote account -- or not, as you choose.

I recommend it.
