Dear Wives:

Are you listed as the owner of your husband's life insurance policy? If not, why not? If hubby runs off with a 25-year-old, he can name her as the beneficiary if he is the owner. What's that? You never thought of that? Think about it.

Do you pay the annual premiums on your own separate bank account? If not, why not? Do you want to keep the payoff out of the taxable estate of your husband? Prove that you own the policy. Prove that you paid for it.
