Windows 10 Privacy (None)

Gary North - November 14, 2015

It turns out that Windows 10 becomes spyware if you install it with the default setting, which is so easy. It is meant to be easy.

Difficult is better if you want privacy. If you want to retain your privacy, you must install it manually. You must make sure you do not authorize the program to snoop inside your computer.

There are lots of articles on this.

I never trust Microsoft's initial release -- or, in the case of Vista, any release. So, with my new computer, which has 8.1 installed, I plan to wait another six months. I will let Microsoft get some of the bugs fixed. Then I will download it and install it.

Maybe.

As for buying a smart Vizio TV, I'll pass.

They just won't stop.
