Do you send out Christmas cards every year? If so, buy them over the next seven days.
Buy what you know you're going to buy just after the buying season has ended.
This is obvious, but people forget.
Buy a turkey and freeze it. Buy two if the price is right. Turkey sandwiches are great all year round.
On January 4, buy as much eggnog ice cream as you think you will eat next year. Don't forget peppermint stick.
If there are perennial toys that your kids or grandkids will like next Christmas, look for sales.
