Block Windows Updates
Beginning this week, Microsoft has begun to update Windows 7 and 8.1 systems automatically to Windows 10. The story is here: //www.garynorth.com/snip/1218.htm
If you do not want Microsoft to do this to your computer, you must re-set Windows away from its default setting. Here are instructions: //www.garynorth.com/snip/1219.htm
It is best to reserve the option to update after finding out what you are being asked to update.
