Defeating Google's Cookie
Maybe you read about AOL's goof: posting the compiled results of the web searches of over 650,000 of its members.
AOL apologized -- not for collecting the data on all AOL members' searches, but for posting a sample group's results by mistake.
The reality is, AOL collects this information. It can then sell it. Or hand it over to a government agency. Read about this here:
