On Tuesday, July 12, Amazon is holding Prime Day. It's a "bargain deals sale" to get you to sign up for Amazon Prime.
I am a Prime member. It costs $99/year. I get free movies and free TV shows. I get free shipping on a lot of goods. This is really good for heavy items.
Amazon Prime day is the bait to hook you. But the hook is a good deal.
Before you sign up, be aware that the deals may look great, but may not be as good as they look. That's why you need the free service, Camel Camel Camel. It lets you track the price history of everything Amazon sells. It is discussed (and praised) here:
So, before you buy anything on Amazon at any time, you can see if today's price is really that good a deal. If it's close, buy it.
The outfit has apps for other companies, including Newegg and Best Buy.
