The breach at Yahoo is said to be huge. Supposedly, 500 million names/emails were stolen.
My first response: How is it possible that Yahoo has been so unprofitable? Any outfit with 500 million names ought to be very profitable.
Verizon just paid $4.8 billion for Yahoo. They did not know about the stolen emails. Oops. My guess: lawyers will be called in soon. The words "incomplete disclosure" come to mind.
I have a little-used Yahoo email account. They lost money on me.
