If you (or a relative) are looking for a new career or the old career at better pay, here is a good place to start looking. This article reports on the best 25 cities in the U.S. for jobs. It takes into consideration the cost of living.

It covers 100 cities. The worst city for getting a job is . . . Detroit.

Does this come as a shock?

The best city? Washington, D.C. No kidding!

But in between, there are some amazing disconnects.

The best city in the midwest is Indianapolis. In 1970, I knew a man who bought a 4,000 s/f brick home for $4,000. That's right. No extra zero. There were homes all over the block at that price.

Why didn't I buy?

The inverted yield curve is a growing threat to housing prices by way of the economy.

I think the real estate dominoes are just beginning to topple.

If you decide to move, and you need to sell your home, read this report first: "How to Sell Your Home Quickly in a Down Market." It's available free to site members.
