My Free Book: The Covenantal Structure of Christian Economics (Revised Edition)
I have done a major re-write. This is the first time I have had to do this.
I regard this as my most significant academic book. It took me over 40 years to do the homework to complete it. The first edition appeared in 2015. It was incomplete.
I made a mistake. I did not recognize that the first point of the economic covenant is purpose, not planning. Mises did not make this mistake. It took me 54 years to figure this out. A slow learner! I have discussed this here: purpose precedes planning.
I made additional revisions in the sections on church and state.
I explain why economists are unable to explain family, church, and state in terms of the system of analysis that they apply to individuals and businesses. As soon as you read the brief introductions to the three sections, you will understand why not. I have never seen any economist discuss this simple difference.
I want to print this in a hardback next year. If you spot any typos, let me know. Post the errors in a single block on the typographical errors forum.
Or send me an email: garynorth@garynorth.com. Put "Typos" in the subject box.
