A Dumb Travel Computer
Airports and hotels offer free Wi-Fi. But there is a major problem with them. These networks are not secure. Someone can hack your computer.
If you travel, you should carry a cheap, lightweight Chromebook. If you drop it, it's no big loss. If it gets stolen, it's no big loss.
I travel with an old Lenovo laptop computer. I like the keyboard. There is nothing on it except a few old programs. I have a copy of Naturally Speaking, the voice-to-text program. It is not available for Chromebook.
