Here is a movie with George C. Scott, Peter Sellers (three times), Sterling Hayden, Slim Pickens, Keenan Wynn (in what was his most famous role), and even James Earl Jones. The great British character actor Peter Bull, who looked like a bulldog, has a small role. Some phrases from the film have survived the test of time, most notably Sterling Hayden's fear about the loss of his "precious bodily fluids."
Only a blind man could miss the significance of the large sign outside the Air Force Base: Peace Is Our Profession. We see it in the middle of a firefight.
