A site member who is a communications transmitter technician and also a BMW motorcycle expert posted this:

"The 'WD' stands for water dispersant. It is called Water Resistant Silicone Lubricant. Buy a can and use it for nearly everything that gets stuck or corroded."
He writes about the communications industry's professional version of the product. Then, at the bottom of the page, he describes the WD-40 version: cheap and easy to use.
I searched for it. I found this promotional video. This is a great video. If you want to sell something on Craigslist, imitate it. But don't add music. It's not necessary. Also, you don't need the flashy spilling introduction. Just tell your story about the benefits of the item. Use a $30 lapel microphone. As you narrate, illustrate what they are hearing, just as this ad does. Then add an action step to get them to buy. Here is the ad.
