Peter Jackson, who gave the world The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit, has produced a phenomenal documentary on World War I.

London's Imperial War Museum approached him four years ago. It had hundreds of hours of films. Jackson agreed to produce this film. He worked for free.

He hired lip readers to determine what men on screen were saying. Then he hired voice-over specialists to fill in the silent film.

The voices reminiscing are from the War Museum's tapes.

Here is the trailer, aka preview.

It will be shown today and on December 27. If you want to see it on a big screen, you must take action. If you want to see it in 3D, you must take action.

I will view the 4:30 showing locally.
