It's Time to Get Rid of Stuff
There are no free lunches. There is no free time. There is no free space.
My wife has been tossing out stuff this month. We have a large basement. It is filled with lots of metal shelving like this:
She emptied four of them this month. She has been taking loads to the local dump. She has been advertising on Facebook. People buy stuff.
Now it's my turn. I have to start unloading some of my shelves. I told her I would if she did.
Why now? Better now than later. When you get the urge to do something sensible, do it.
I don't know what we will do with the now-empty shelves. Sell them, I hope. If we don't, we might fill them again. It's the right time of year to sell: garage sale season. People are buying stuff. They will need shelves.
When people are buying used stuff, sell yours. Don't replace it.
Free at last! Free at last! Free is free. Not much else is.
