174,000 Rounds of .357 Ammo for Social Security
In the same way that we should think of every gun as loaded, we should think of old people as armed and dangerous. They must be dealt with severely when they become a threat to the public.
This is why the Social Security Administration has ordered 174,000 rounds of .357 ammunition. And not just normal .357's. Hollow point .357’s. You know: dum-dums. Small hole going in, large gaping hole going out.
When granny goes on a rampage, she will not be facing a bunch of Barney Fife’s.
You may think this is off-the-wall stuff. You may think this is conspiracy stuff. Well, government employees can’t be too cautious in the era of terrorism.
Extreme vigilance is the price of monthly checks.

For comparison, the National Marine Fisheries Service needs only 16,000 rounds. The order request is here. It is well known that fishermen are so loaded down with fishing gear — or just plain loaded — that they don’t carry enough ammo to make a stand.
In contrast, old people who have not been sent their money are known to be cantankerous, even violently cantankerous. You have heard of “going postal.” This is nothing compared to “going Social.” These people must be dealt with in a decisive way. If word gets out that Social Security employees are not ready for any emergency, they will become sitting ducks.
When dealing with Social Security dependents, the Social Security Administration is always on code orange alert. If the agency must ever go to red alert, it is ready.
If you have any doubts, it has 174,000 hollow point .357 rounds to make its point — or will have by the end of the year.
From now on, whenever you think “Social Security Administration,” think “dum-dum.”

In 1996, at the Department of Veterans Affairs, there were zero employees with firearm and arrest authorization. Today, a spokesman admits to 3,700 police officers guarding and securing VA medical centers. Our data shows that the VA spent $11.66 million on guns, ammo and military-style equipment. Specifically, the VA spent more than $3.6 million on ammunition, $2 million on guns, $2.3 million on body armor, and $200,000 on night-vision equipment.
There is a literal arms race going on inside the U.S. government's domestic agencies.
