Procrastination kills.
This has been one of my favorite slogans for over 40 years.
How many home videos do you have? Lots. You take them constantly because it's so easy.
Did you upload a few of them on Facebook? Can you find them? Do you remember them?
What good are home videos that are sitting in your hard drive? What if it crashes?
If the videos are just raw footage -- we still call videos "footage" -- they are useless. You never watch them. You get no memories out of them.
It will take 10 hours for you to put together just a few amusing home videos. So what?
But you don't invest the hours. You are never going to enjoy the videos.
Procrastination kills.
You have to start now. You have to get the editing tools. You have to get the skills. Most important, you have to get into a routine. If you don't do this, you will never see those videos. Neither will your children.
Here is a brief article on a strategy for editing your home videos: https://www.garynorth.com/snip/1381.htm

Once you invest 10 hours in learning these techniques, you will be off and running.
Make it your hobby.
