Videos: Doctored Graphs of the Global Warming Movement
One of the tricks of the trade of true believers in the global warming movement is to fake the evidence. It is all done in the name of truth, justice, and saving the planet. It leads to lies, injustice, and expanding the state.
The most famous fake graph of the movement is the now infamous hockey stick. This video is a nice mixture of cartoons, interviews, and images: hockey players.
Professor Mann sued for slander a scientist critical of his hockey stick data. Mann was cited for contempt of court when he refused to provide his data to the court.
Here is another video: a screencast. It calmly discusses other doctored graphs that have been used to promote the idea that global warming is man-made.
If you have a case that can be defended by the evidence, you don't need doctored graphs. A graph is a form of rhetoric -- persuasion. Rule: your rhetoric must be consistent with your evidence.
