Armed and Dangerous: 12-Year-Old Girl Shoots an Intruder
An intruder though he had things under control. He didn’t.
He had a plan. He rang the doorbell. The he went to the back door and kicked it in.
The girl called her mother. Her mother told her to get the family’s pistol. She did. Then she hid in a closet.
The intruder started to open the closet door. She fired through the door. He left the house, really fast.
But he was not fast enough — not with a bullet in him. The police caught him sitting on a lawn, bleeding.
This was in Oklahoma. He has been sent to jail to await a trial. The district attorney has not called for her arrest. He has not demanded an investigation of her use of a dangerous weapon.
Even in Chicago or New York City, a District Attorney would know that a jury would not convict.
Stories like these create nightmares for the gun control lobby. Voters know that these stories are representative, not some lunatic shooting into a crowded movie theater of unarmed people.
Anyone feel sorry for the intruder? Will the ACLU take this case as a violation of his civil rights? I doubt it. Continue reading on here.
