Great Free Articles on Bill Myers' Website

Gary North - December 07, 2019

I sent Bill Myers an email to find out whether he intends to leave his website up on a permanent basis. Here is what he sent back: "I don't plan to leave it up permanently. I will eventually close it. Feel free to copy and reuse any articles you find on the site."

This gave me an idea. His site is filled with lots of articles: thousands of them. The problem is this: the time it takes to go through the site to find gems.

I have decided to make this a corporate venture. I have set up a new discussion forum called Bill's Gems.

I encourage site members to start going through his site in search of hidden treasures. If you find something that you think is really good, post a link to the article, and provide a description in three or four sentences as to why you think it is a valuable piece to read. In the subject box, put the subject of his article. This way, if we do a search on the forum search engine on my site's home page, we will be more likely to find what we're looking for. When you write your summary, stick in some keywords that we may be able to remember when we go looking for the article.

The second thing you really need to do is this: if you don't have an Evernote account, set one up. Make sure you set up Web Clipper. Then, when you go to Bill's site, and you find an article you really like, click Web Clipper. Then add keywords to the drop-down box. Web Clipper will save the entire article in Evernote.

We know that Bill will someday take his site off of the web. That won't matter if you have saved his articles with Web Clipper. The articles will be preserved in your Evernote account. The URLs will go bad, but the articles will be there.
