Let’s See the Principal Do Yoga

The local tax-funded school system in Encinitas, California, requires elementary school students to take yoga classes. Christian parents are protesting. This is Eastern religion.

It can be, but this looks like a stripped-down version.

There are lots of reasons to pull your kids out of the tax-funded schools. Yoga exercises are not high on the list.

Is the principal planning to take lessons? How about the Superintendent of Schools? Don’t they need exercise? Of course they do. So, if the kids are required to huff and puff, why not the entire faculty? Let them set a good example. Or is it one more example of “Do as I say, not as I do”? They sit. The kids are not allowed to sit.

The state just will not stop meddling. It’s not there to teach the simple skills of reading, writing, and arithmetic. It’s about social engineering.
