Dear Kris Kristofferson: I Have a Photo of Your Sister to Send You

In the fall of 1959, I took a photo of your sister. It was published in the Pomona College Bulletin (January 1960).

I was a freshman. Coach Merritt wanted a photo, and I was doing photography at the time. So, I came out for the shoot.

I saved a copy of the Bulletin. I forgot about it. A few months ago, I began throwing out old memorabilia, and I came across it. I did not remember why I had saved it. I went through it, and there was the photo. I remembered the photo, but I did not remember that your sister was in it.

I knew who you were. You had become my role model. I wrote about this in 2004. Yet, somehow, I had overlooked the fact that she was in the photo.

I want to send you the issue. I can't find a way to let you know that I have it.

I am not trying to get your autograph. I am not trying to get your email. I am trying to clear off my desk.

I am going to send a link to this article to your booking agent. Maybe he will forward it to you.

Maybe someone else will see this article and forward it.

I will save the issue until March 31. I will throw it out if I haven't heard from you by then.

Let me know: garynorth@garynorth.com.
