There are older people in your circle of friends who should not be going shopping.
If you know of services that deliver food or other groceries, let them know. I am thinking of Instacart. There may be other services in your area.
Here is another way to help. Shop for them. Get a list by email or phone of what they need. Phone it in for them if they do not drive. Pick it up. Deliver it.
Use gloves to carry the bags. Knock at the door. Step back. Let them pick it up. Wave. Be pleasant.
At home, make a photocopy of the receipt and mail it to them. They can reimburse you.
They need to be 100% isolated. You can help.
