If you are a Roman Catholic in good standing, you should uphold the doctrine of papal infallibility. It was established at the Vatican I council in 1870. The church still holds to the position.
Miss Barnhardt denies that Pope Francis is the Pope. That is because she denies that Benedict XVI resigned in a valid fashion. She has taken it upon herself to tell the entire Catholic hierarchy that it does not understand Canon law. She has done this in public. She has produced a video presentation on her thesis.
Back in 1521, Martin Luther was excommunicated for holding such a view. Any priest holding such a view prior to 1958 would have been excommunicated. But now a woman can say this in public repeatedly, and no one holds her accountable.
This indicates the extent of the disintegration of authority within the Catholic Church. There is a basic rule: if an institution does not apply sanctions for the violation of its law or rule, then it has no law or rule. It just has impotent suggestions. I wrote a 1,000-page book on this applying it to the northern Presbyterian Church: Crossed Fingers: How the Liberals Captured the Presbyterian Church (1996).

To these SCA people, and everyone else, if you stop and think about it, the ONLY metric by which any act is judged is whether or not it is “CONSENSUAL”. As long as a person CONSENTS, they are “without sin.” Now think this through. What this presupposes is that the individual HIMSELF is the standard and arbiter of morality. There are no objective moral norms – there is only the will of the individual. There is no external standard – in other words, there is no God. The individual man himself is his own god. BINGO! This mindset is so pervasive, so ubiquitous in post-Christian culture today that most people don’t even realize it is there.
Back in 2012, I said that she should be brought under discipline. I titled my article Ann Barnhardt Has Lost Her Mind. Avoid Her Like the Plague. I did it because of her recommendation of joining the tax revolt. She told people not to file. But, with respect to her violation of Catholic ethics, I recommended this because of her foul language. I knew of course that she would not be excommunicated. She will not be excommunicated now. But she should have been disciplined a long time ago. I wrote this:
When a woman comes in the name of Christ with this vocabulary, do not pay any attention to her. It is bad enough when a man uses such language in public. For a Christian woman, it is reprehensible.She has become a foul-mouthed embarrassment to the Catholic Church. She should be disciplined by her priest. If she does not publicly repent and apologize for this article, she should be excommunicated.
She has since burned out spiritually. She constantly uses foul language. It has become a pattern. It ceases to shock readers. They are used to it.

On Paul Ryan, then the Speaker of the House of Representatives, third in line for the presidency after the Vice President, and also on candidate Donald Trump. Her accusation also had to include Ron Paul.

Yeeaah. You know how you coulda seen YEARS IN ADVANCE the fact that Paul Ryan is a lying psychopath who would gleefully assrape his own grandmother, or an entire planet of grandmothers, for a nickel?

You realize this applies every bit as strongly to Trump too, right? Tell me you are not so stupid as to believe for one second that Trump would actually do ANY of the things he is talking about. He’s just smart enough to know what y’all want to hear, and is saying it. You know how I know that Trump will never follow through on anything he is saying?

They don’t care that it looks bad because the overthrow of the constitutional republic is a fait accompli and has been for YEARS. What the hell are you going to do about it? Nothing. Oh, you’ve made that PERFECTLY clear. These people have been committing CAPITAL OFFENSES according to the old U.S. Code on a daily basis for YEARS and NO ONE GIVES A SHIT.
On COVID-19.
Okay, guys, do you want to know WHY the Chinese, especially in Wuhan province, got hit? It’s because they are all chronically pulmonarically (lungs) compromised from the Chinese air pollution. This is a pic of an average day in Wuhan.So these Chinese folk get a strain of nasty flu, and develop pneumonia. Well, no shit.
It goes on and on and on. The fact that she has not been brought under church discipline testifies to the utter impotence of the Roman Catholic Church to enforce even the rudiments of discipline on deviant members. It indicates that the Church really is in a state of collapse. She wrote this of Bill and Melinda gates. Mrs. Gates is a member in good standing in the Catholic Church. To speak this way of a fellow member of the church is reprehensible. To do this in public is even more reprehensible. Any person who calls himself or herself a Catholic who in any way promotes the ideas, website, integrity, intelligence, or any other supposedly good attribute of Ann Barnhardt is encouraging a spiritually and ethically burned out woman in pursuing her visibly evil activities. She is not in need of encouragement. She is in need of repentance. She is in need of church discipline. Again, I say it: avoid her like the plague.
