Hertz has declared bankruptcy. It is now unloading its cars at low prices. You can buy a one-year-old car, cheap.

These are open-road miles, which are much easier on cars than stop-and-go city miles.
In September, prices will be even lower. The recession has not kicked in yet. It will. Patience.
