Gillette vs. Schick Test: Year Two

I began this test in October 2018. I might call this a face-off competition, but that phrase gives the wrong impression.

The contest: A Gillette Mach3 vs. a Schick Quattro. I switch razors every day.

To sharpen each blade after each shave, I use a strip of blue jean material that is stapled to a towel rack next to the sink.

So far, I can't decide. There has been zero deterioration of either blade over the last year.

Stay tuned for my 2021 report a year from now.

My advice: stop buying razor blades. One blade will do for the next year -- and maybe longer.
