In the summer of 2010, I delivered a series of 15 lectures at American Vision's headquarters in Powder Springs, Georgia.

The Tea Party tax protest movement had appeared almost overnight in mid-February 2009. By the summer of 2010, it was a significant voting bloc.

This was the first Congressional election after the election of Obama in 2008. The Democrats won both houses of Congress in 2008. As it turned out, the Democrats lost their majority in the House of Representatives in November.

The head of American Vision, Gary DeMar, interviewed me about the series. This serves as the introduction. We were sitting in front of a small section of my library, most of which I later donated to the Ludwig von Mises Institute.
