Hot Dog ran on NBC for one year season: 1970/71.

It ran on Saturday morning. It showed two segments on how things were made.

Introducing a segment was Woody Allen. I recall that Jonathan Winters closed them.

Jo Anne Worley was a star on Laugh In.

Winters winged it, as was his practice. Sometimes, the crew can be heard laughing.

Only 13 shows were made. They re-ran it for the rest of the season. It covered 27 topics.

I was in grad school. I watched it. I learned. I laughed.

Here are a few snippets. I wish there were a DVD of all of them.

The Yardbirds did the music for some of the segments. They did the one on trees. A blues slide guitarist did the one on brooms.
