Dear Mrs. Palin: Please Oppose the Big Bank Bailout

Dear Mrs. Palin:

Congress is about to load another $700 billion onto the backs of American taxpayers. This is only the first installment. The bankers will return for more. On Tuesday, it was $85 billion for AIG. Soon it will be $50 billion for the auto industry.

If you tell Senator McCain that you are going to oppose this in public, he might back off. In any case, you would position yourself as the voice on the middle class that paid its bills, budgeted its money, and did not indebt itself for houses it could not afford.

These people are about to be hit with the destruction of the dollar. The debt is huge. It will have not be paid off. There will be a great default, either openly or by mass inflation by the Federal Reserve System. Inflation is the path of least resistance.

There is no courage in Washington today. There may still be courage in Alaska.

Break ranks on this. If you do, you will become the voice of the silent majority that pays its bills, and is now being told to pay the bills of the bankers, who got rich personally with their wild speculation.

If you ask people to send a protest to Congress, maybe you can stop this thing.

Please, speak out against this. There is no one else who can stop this steamroller.
