Auto Insurance Discount

Check with your auto insurance representative to see if your policy grants a discount for safe driving. If it does, see what you have to do to qualify.
Some policies offer a substantial discount if you attend a defensive driving class and pass an exam. Not many safe drivers take these classes. The classes are usually filled with people who have had a violation, and are there just to keep their insurance.
The class will take a few hours. If you are cutting costs, it probably will pay. If it costs $75, you can probably make it back within 4 months, maybe less. After that, it's gravy.
