I have previously recommended that you request a copy of your free credit report. You can do this here:
There are other reports that third parties keep on you. You may not be aware of this. You can request free copies once a year.
One is your employment history report:
Another is your tenant history report.
A third is your consumer file. If you have applied for certain kinds of insurance, there is a file on you. These include, life insurance, health insurance, and disability insurance.
You will never know what is in these files unless you ask. I suggest that you ask.
