We all know about YouTube. Anyone can upload a short video. It's free. It stays there forever.
Businesses can use YouTube to do free promotions. They can also post how-to videos to reduce customer support demands.
But there is a downside. Google posts ads on some videos. You cannot control this. Do you want an ad popping up for a rival's product?
There is a solution. It's free. It allows high- quality video. It doesn't post ads on your videos unless you share in the revenue. It's called Blip.tv. It's here:
The posted videos are high quality.
They say that if they ever charge to post videos, this will not be retroactive.
I don't see any downside.
You can set up Blip to allow ads. You share any money.
Its target market is would-be professional film producers. But the rest of us get to use the service.
I plan to post my video-based home school curriculum on it if it's still free when I'm ready to post.
