Do Not Major in Anything That Can Be Outsourced.
Dec. 11, 2009
This article shows that college costs are rising, the percentage of students who attend college is rising, and the return on the investment is low.
If your job can be outsourced, employers are not interested in hiring you. They are interested in hiring someone in India.
The article recommends these majors: health care (government money), education (government money), and non-profits (government subsidy: tax deduction).
I recommend chemical engineering.
I recommend young child eeucation if you are planning to start a day care. Day care cannot be outsourced. But I recommend a special kind of day care. You can get a salary of $100,000 a year, plus permanent real estate income in your retirement. I provide a free manual for site members.
A college degree is a hunting license. Get through for no more than $14,000, total. Do it in two years. Fast and cheap: this is my recommended strategy.
