McGuffey's Primer and Readers 1-3 in PDF: Perfect for Producing On-Line Video Lessons
Project Gutenberg has posted them.

These are ready for anyone who wants to make YouTube videos on how parents can use the McGuffeys to teach their children how to read.
My goal is to post links to these videos. Alternatively, I will post links to sites that post links to these videos. The teacher can set up a YouTube channel for this project.
Some videos can be aimed at parents. Others can be aimed directly at students, which a parent will view alongside a student and offer help, if needed.
Warning: be sure to use a lapel microphone for the project. Do not rely on a built-in webcam mic. Radio Shack sells a mic for under $30.
You can edit videos with the free Movie Maker 2.6.
To narrate any on-screen image, such as a page in a McGuffey Reader, use a free screencast program, CamStudio. This is a great tool for any video-based teaching project involving screen images.
Maybe you have an idea for a better reading program than one based on McGuffey. More power to you. Get it on line. Let me know when your channel is ready: garynorth@garynorth.com.
People say, "What can I do?" Here is what Salman Khan did: www.KhanAcademy.org.
