One program is sponseored by the Foundation for Economic eEducation (FEE). It will be held in early June in Atlanta. It is a good introduction to the basics of the free market social order. For details, go to www.FEE.org.

The second is sponsored the Mises Institute: Mises University. It is more advanced that the FEE program. http://mises.org/events/110 It will be held in late July.

Mises University is aimed at college students. A high school senior ought to be ready, but having attended the FEE program will help a student get up to speed.

I would not want to send any student off to college who had not covered the materials and ideas made available by these two programs.

This is expensive for parents who do not live close to Atlanta. But college is expensive. This is like boot camp for college-bound students. A student who is unfamiliar with Austrian economics is a sitting duck for the colleges.

I think students should do some reading before they attend. I have written Inherit the Earth. It's introductory.
