I am a great believer in low-cost, fast-output YouTube videos. I have a department on this:

If you have produced Web videos that are posted on one or more of the video sites, I am interested in having you moderate my new forum, Video Production Basics.

All you have to do is answer questions from site members who want to get started. You'll get the questions in your email box. Once a day, post answers. They don't have to be long answers.

A really good answer would be a screencast video posted on Jing or Screenr.

I'll give you a free subscription to my site.

If you have your own subscription site, I'll help you promote it.

If you sell DVDs on video production, I'll let you promote them. Put a promo at the end of every screencast answer.

My subscribers understand that expertise is worth paying for. If you can save people time and frustration in climbing the video production learning curve, you will sell products on advanced techniques.

If you are interested, send me some URLs to videos you have produced.

If you want to pitch me with a screencast, all the better. Send the link.

Mail to garynorth@garynorth.com. Put this in the subject box: Video Guru.
