BarOn EQ-1: A Self-Assessment Exam for Job Placement -- Only It's Almost Impossible to Take It
One of the most important steps you can take to get the job you want in a bad job market is to take a self-assessment test. BarOn EQ-1 is a good one. Only it's BarOn EQI (capital I, not 1).
If you searched for this exam as BarOn EQ-1, you have come up short. I tried. Here is all I got on Google: http://bit.ly/cl7cxD.
There is a better search possible: BarOn EQI. It's an I, not a 1.
BarOn EQI is called an emotional intelligence assessment exam. Maybe you read about it in the book, Guerrilla Marketing for Job Hunters 2.0. There is a lengthy section on this on pages 9-11.
You will find it extremely difficult to take this exam. You cannot administer it to yourself. You cannot take it online on the site. You must go through a lot of hoops to find out who can administer this exam to you. The page that lists the officially qualified people is not organized by zip code, city, or state. You must click links to your country, one by one.

I posted this page for those who are interested in taking the exam but who searched in vain for the company exactly as listed in the book.
