Refurbished Electronics
Oct. 23, 2010
This was posted by a subscriber in one of my site's forums.
In 2006, I read an article in "Bottom Line Personal" that recommended refurbished electronics. At the time I was in need of a consumer-level digital DVD recorder. I have experience and education in electronics, so I am able to discern good & bad electronics deals. I researched the various online businesses that the article recommended, and bought my first refurbished, Panasonic DVD recorder.I got it at 62% off Best Buy's price, and I have never had any problems.
From then on, I have recommend refurbished electronics to everyone I know.
I will NOT buy anything new, until I check out the refurbished electronics dealers.
I like Panasonic products, and have always been able to buy them.
Most people still buy new Consumer-level electronics, something that I have not done since 2006!
The quality has always been very high. Most come with very good guaranties & warranties.
One source, which I accidentally discovered, is "Overstock. com." They sell a lot of new & refurbished items.
Check it out.
