Cheap Cruises

So, you and your spouse want to gain ten pounds each, play slot machines, watch old movies, visit tourist traps, buy trinkets, sit in the sun in a deck chair reading books you could have read at home, play organized games as if you were in junior high again, and spend time together that you could not afford when you really wanted to spend time together. Then take a cruise on The Love Bloat.

But don't pay retail. Pay 25% of retail.

The cruise ship companies bought a lot of ships before the recession hit. They have too much capacity. Rooms are empty.

It's better to get some money than no money. So, the companies make deals with wholesalers to sell unused cabin space.

The companies do not mention any of this in their ads.

They also don't mention that those young, sexy couples in the brochures are models. Your table mates will be overweight, middle age folks who saved up for years to afford a cruise and were not informed that they could have saved 75%.

Be polite. Don't mention what you paid.
