So, you want more photos of the grandchildren. Don't we all?
Or maybe you want to end the nagging from your mother-in-law about not sending her enough photos.
They can be posted on Facebook. But not if you don't belong to Facebook, or if you don't use it.
What would be great is a family blog site, where parents can post photos of their kids. Grandparents can track the latest happenings. There will eventually be a permanent record of each child's growth to adulthood.
This solves another problem: too many photos of the first child in the family album.
At some age, the kids will start posting items.
These sites are free. The easiest to use is www.Blogger.com.
The most versatile is www.WordPress.com. About 10% of all sites are hosted on WordPress.com.
I think WordPress is the best for long-term use.
What can you do to persuade your adult children to set up a site? Set up one of your own. "Do as I do, just as I say."
If they want privacy, they can set up the site for approved users only.
