My wife -- not William Shatner -- got me to use Priceline. I don't travel often, but when I do, I find that Priceline gets me good deals.
There are ways to game the system. But don't be tempted to spend too much time trying to get that last $10. Your time is worth money.
When you first begin, you will have to spend time learning how to get real savings. So, regard this as your tuition payment. It will pay off later.
I found an article that tells you how you can bid on the same day your first bid is rejected, and still not have to raise your bid. Normally, you must wait 24 hours to submit the same bid. But you can game the system to get it to count your second bid as new.
