Google Shut Down My Google-Plus Account -- Says It's Got Too Many People

Sept. 16, 2011

I had an article to post on my Google+ account last night. I went to it. I signed in. What's this? I was not on my Google+ page.

I went back. I read the sign-in page.

What's this? It's a new page.

When I click my email, the screen says I am logged in.

I had no warning of the changes.

I can understand that they are not letting new people on. The company did this in June. It indicates amazing short-sightedness, but at least there is a pattern. But to shut me out of my existing account, so that I cannot reach my subscribers, is incredible.

If it's a glitch, it's a doozie.

If it's a new policy, it's bonehead stupid.

This sends a message: "Not ready for prime time."

The folks at Facebook will be amused.

I am not amused.

My apologies to everyone I invited to join.
